US Air Force Logistics Premier College Intern Program

The Premier College Intern Program (PCIP) is a 10 to 12-week paid summer internship for college juniors & seniors interested in a promising career within Air Force Civilian Services (AFCS) to include Logistics Management Specialists (0346 job series).

As a Premier College Intern, you’ll work side by side with current AFCS and military professionals, gaining invaluable hands-on experience making tangible contributions to real-world projects in support of the U.S. Air Force and its critical mission. We’ll help you tap into your creativity and ambition to tackle challenges both known and unforeseen.

Following completion of PCIP and college graduation, you may qualify for a full-time, paid position within the Palace Acquire (PAQ) Program where you’ll further hone and develop your expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS & ELIGIBILITY

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Cumulative GPA 2.95 or above
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance (funded by USAF)
  • Currently enrolled in an approved, full-time program pursuing a bachelor’s or master’sdegree
    • Bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 60 credits complete
    • Master's Degree must be halfway complete
  • Targeting students who will graduate in the Dec 2025 through Aug 2026 time frame

  • Internships are designed to develop the future leaders of AbbVie.  Many of their internships serve as an intentional pipeline into their early career development programs, which have a long history of impact,  At the end of the internship assignment, successful participants may be considered for development programs or direct hire full-time opportunities.
  • Co-ops help students gain robust work experience by contributing to critical projects across multiple business functions over a for to six-month time period.
  • Development Programs are full-time experiences primiarily filled by graduates of their internship program.  Each program is crafted to help candidates develop exceptional functional and leadership traits by working on a wide range of projects, while providing exposure to different leaders within the company.
  • Lastly, their EXCEL Externship is a voluntary, two-day immersive experience at AbbVie's headquarters at Lake County, IL for second-year college students to explore diverse business areas, network with our teams and leaders, engage in professional development events, and have an opportunity to interview for an AbbVie internship for the following summer.
