Description:

The Project Engineer designs and oversees sound, video, lighting, and acoustical systems, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and profitability goals. Responsibilities include creating technical drawings, testing system performance, and simplifying complex technical concepts for clients and teams. Collaboration with Project Managers, Job Superintendents, and cross-functional teams is essential to ensure quality design, installation, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in CAD/AutoCAD.
  • Programming experience (e.g., C, C++, Crestron, Extron, AMX).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience with the design and installation of professional audio, video, network, and lighting systems (for senior-level position)
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Occupational Health Internship Program

The Occupational Health Internship Program (OHIP) is a full-time, paid summer internship designed to link the skills and interests of students with the needs of workers employed in an underserved or high-hazard job. Teams of two interns are assigned to a union or worker organization where they receive supervision from a designated staff member and an academic mentor. The 2026 OHIP training sites are Baltimore, Chicago, Cleveland, Durham, NC, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and San Francisco Bay Area. Additional sites may be announced after the opening of the application period.

The 2026 Summer application period is now open.

Deadline: January 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST

Your Application MUST Include:
  • The Online Application Form - Limit each essay response to 200 words (or 1,500 characters)
  • Resume that includes job experience, previous internships, and/or volunteer work
  • Reference Page that lists contact information for 3 references. Examples of references are professors (current and past), employers, coaches, etc. 
  • At least one Letter of Recommendation which can be submitted by:​
      • Uploading it with the application
