Job Description:

·         Responsible for the operation of 3shape dental CAD orthodontic and restorative software.

·         Responsible for the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of DLP 3D printers.

·         Maintain a schedule for the various print jobs that must be shared between the 3D printers.

·         Responsible for communicating with designers and case managers to achieve deadlines.

·         Preparing STL files and refining STL files for optimal 3D printing.

·         Post-processing for 3D printed models (including cleaning and polishing) and preparation for packaging and shipping.



KNOWLEDGE:

·         CAD experience in dental or traditional CAD or 3D modeling

·         Basic understanding of 3D Printers

·         Preferred:

o   Dental or heathcare background

o   Healthcare regulatory guidelines (e.g. HIPAA)

o   Medical device regulatory guidelines

o   Experience working in or around a dental laboratory or dental office

o   Knowledge of dental applications and devices



SKILLS:

·         3D Modeling / CAD

·         High attention to detail

·         Organizational and Administrative skills

·         Scheduling and planning skills

·         Communication

o   Preferred:

§  Cross-disciplinary communication (e.g. medical professionals, patients, and engineers)

·         Willing to work in a highly regulated environment

REQUESTED EXPERIENCE:

·         Bachelor’s Degree or Relevant Experience

·         Preferred

o   Experience with 3D Printing

o   Experience with CAD
