Graduating aerospace seniors welcome to apply for a position as a Customer Support Engineer for the F135 program at Tinker Air Force Base in OKC
The team is between 8-9 engineers that are responsible for problem solving engine assembly issues and reviewing defects observed during engine operation.
P&W is part of Raytheon, who is one of the largest defense contractors at the moment. At Tinker we perform the overhaul of the F119 turbine, which is in the F22 Raptor, the F135 turbine that is in the F35 Lightning. We are targeting to have over 500 employees at our site in the next few years, so there is definitely growth in our area. At this location we also have engineering teams that are responsible for repair of turbine components and also evaluation of defect modes and acceptance for continued operation.
