COMPETITION SUMMARY
Airplanes will soon be using new fuels that are better for the environment and will likely have new designs that allow them to fly safer, faster, cleaner, and quieter. These advancements will require infrastructure updates or design overhauls to existing or new airports. Gateways to Blue Skies: Airports of Tomorrow asks teams to propose airport designs of external elements to accommodate these new climate-friendly aviation technologies.
