ASEE 2023 Midwest Section Conference Sept. 10-12 Call for Papers and Registration

 GCoE Graduate Students,

 

The College of Engineering at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL) is honored and excited to host the 2023 ASEE Midwest Section Conference (https://engineering.unl.edu/asee-midwest-2023) in Lincoln on September 10-12, 2023. Registration is now open; you may register using this link.

 

  • We look for nominations (July 15 deadline) for the Teaching and the Service Awards that the Midwest section gives. Details for the Teaching and the Service Awards are found here. 
  • The theme of the conference is “Workforce Readiness: Preparing STEM Graduates for the Jobs of Today and Tomorrow. In addition to the traditional sessions and panel discussion sessions, we are offering two workshops prior to the start of the annual conference. 

 

Paper Submission Guidelines

Each paper should be submitted via the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (MS CMT) website. Please use instructions on this page to submit papers.

Papers can be submitted as “Full Papers” (between 5 to 15 pages) or “Short Papers” (between 2 to 4 pages). Student posters can also be submitted (between 2 to 4 pages). Papers will be presented in oral sessions. More information is available on the conference website.

 

Those interested may use this page to propose a discussion panel to organize and moderate.

 

Important Dates

  • Teaching and Service Award nominations: July 15, 2023
  • Papers/Posters Submission: July 31, 2023
  • Panel Proposal Submission: July 31, 2023
  • Notification of Acceptance: August 15, 2023
  • Final Paper Submission: August 31, 2023
