Simple Modern in OKC Seeks Junior or Senior Industrial Engineering Student Intern for Summer 2024

Simple Modern is seeking a junior or senior industrial engineering student intern to work at their domestic manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City during the summer of 2024. The internship will span from May 20th to July 26th and will offer a pay of $25.00 per hour. It is a full-time, in-person internship that will require 40 hours of work per week, and the student will work directly with the facility management team. The intern's primary role will be to assist on-site engineers with process and system development and improvement for domestic manufacturing, warehousing, and custom laser operations. Under the guidance of their manager(s), the student will be responsible for developing job evaluation metrics, performing time studies and workflow analysis, as well as value stream mapping to decrease waste, increase efficiencies, and reduce costs.
