Graduate Workshop for PhD Students in Computational Social Science by the Nonprofit Santa Fe Institute

The nonprofit Santa Fe Institute focuses on research and training in the quantitative modeling of complex systems, including social, cultural, and political systems, and economies. We are currently accepting applications for our Graduate Workshop in Computational Science Modeling and Complexity, an intensive 2-week program consisting of seminars, workshops, and projects intended to help Ph.D. students expand and enhance the approaches they use in their dissertation research and beyond. The 2024 dates are June 30 - July 12, with an application deadline of February 29. Qualified students:

  • have completed at least 2 years of Ph.D. study
  • are actively pursuing research in computational social science
  • have defined their thesis research topic but are not yet in the final stages of their dissertation
