ISS STOXX is hiring! As a Summer Intern in the Data Strategy & Application Development group, you will build solutions that enhance ISS's data pipeline and data-centric applications and services. Collaborating closely with diverse teams, including development, product management, application management, and quality assurance, you'll contribute to the creation and deployment of cutting-edge software using the latest technologies and tools. This internship also offers the flexibility of part-time engagement during the fall and winter semesters.
Responsibilities
- Develop high quality software for client facing products as well as internal tools to load/manage data
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering peers and product management to implement end-to-end solutions
Requirements
- Enrolled in a full-time Computer Science, or similar, undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Passionate about software development with a strong desire to learn
- Exceptional team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid experience in programming
Technology We Utilize
- Java web frameworks, including Spring and Micronaut
- Relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Messaging frameworks like Kafka and RabbitMQ
- Containerization and container orchestration frameworks, including Docker and Kubernetes
- DevOps tools like Gitlab, Argo CD, and Prometheus
