Operations Research Analyst - US Army Management Analysis Branch at Fort Sill, OK

The US Army is looking to hire a recent graduate for an Operations Research Analyst position within the Plans, Analysis, and Integrations Office in the Management Analysis Branch at Fort Sill, OK.  

Job duties include:

  • Provide technical advice and assistance to USAG Fort Sill Command Group and staff offices on the preparation and coordination of program reports and initiatives.
  • Develop study plans, policies, and directives for implementation and administration of assigned management programs.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, Power BI, SPSS, Structured Query Language (SQL), Python, and Tableau and other data analytical tools necessary.
  • Develop illustrations and visualizations of data such as digital dashboards and scorecards, infographics, briefings that can easily be comprehended and simplified for non-technical stakeholder audiences, communicating statistical modeling results.
  • Develop data-based threshold and objective requirements for various Plans, Analysis, and Integration Office related programs and initiatives.
  • Assess data sources to develop and maintain illustrations and visualizations of complex data to contribute to conceptual physical and logical data models.
  • Execute studies of marked difficulty and responsibility that address advanced data modeling techniques and procedures, data trend analysis and the development of mathematical data algorithms.
  • Apply advanced operations research techniques for quantitative and qualitative analysis, statistical analysis, forecasting, predictive modeling, prescriptive analysis, and optimization to validates analysis and outcomes.
  • The duties of this position are for the full performance level. The duties at the GS-09 are the same but with closer than normal supervision.
