Airport Internship – City of Enid


The Airport Internship with the City of Enid offers a hands-on opportunity to learn how a municipal airport operates on a day-to-day basis. Interns will gain exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, including financial tracking, fuel management, line service, customer service, hangar operations, inventory management, and general airfield maintenance. This program is also designed to encourage students to consider future employment opportunities with the City of Enid while gaining valuable experience relevant to their career paths.

Susquehanna River Basin Commission – Summer Environmental Intern

 


The Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC) is currently accepting applications for a Summer Environmental Intern within the Monitoring & Protection Program. This paid, three-month temporary position will begin around May 18, 2026, and will be based out of the SRBC’s Sayre, PA field office.

As a federal-interstate agency overseeing the conservation and management of the Susquehanna River Basin’s water resources across New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, SRBC works to enhance public welfare through comprehensive water resource planning and protection. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting environmental monitoring efforts, including stream health assessments and watershed protection initiatives.

Occupational Health Internship Program

The Occupational Health Internship Program (OHIP) is a full-time, paid summer internship designed to link the skills and interests of students with the needs of workers employed in an underserved or high-hazard job. Teams of two interns are assigned to a union or worker organization where they receive supervision from a designated staff member and an academic mentor. The 2026 OHIP training sites are Baltimore, Chicago, Cleveland, Durham, NC, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and San Francisco Bay Area. Additional sites may be announced after the opening of the application period.

SCS Engineers Civil / Environmental Engineering Intern 2026


SCS Engineers is offering a paid Summer 2026 internship with their Deep Well Injection team, providing hands-on experience in environmental engineering, permitting, groundwater sampling, and UIC well construction. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals on real client projects across sectors such as solid waste, utilities, and manufacturing. The position is based primarily in Morton, IL (with an option for Wichita, KS), includes fieldwork and occasional travel, and offers opportunities to develop technical, analytical, and professional skills in a collaborative, employee-owned company.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil, environmental, geological, or biological systems engineering and graduating by June 2028 required.

Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) Machinist Position

Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking a skilled Machinist to join the Advanced Manufacturing & Design team in our state-of-the-art R&D Machine Shop. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions that support the Savannah River Site, the DOE complex, and vital national security missions.

In this role, you’ll use your machining expertise to work from technical drawings, design documents, and procedures to perform a wide range of machining activities. You'll also have the opportunity to grow your skills in CNC programming, CAD/CAM systems, and advanced manufacturing technologies. The position involves hands-on work with rotating equipment, and candidates must be comfortable with physical requirements such as lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, and performing tasks involving climbing, bending, and twisting.

The Premier College Intern Program (PCIP) is a 10 to 12-week paid summer internship for college juniors & seniors interested in a promising career within Air Force Civilian Services (AFCS) to include Logistics Management Specialists (0346 job series).
