The OU Center for Intelligence and National Security – an Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence – is hosting a virtual National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Recruitment Event on Zoom from 1:30pm to 2:30pm Central Time on Tuesday, December 7. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is a member of the U.S. Intelligence Community and a Department of Defense (DoD) Combat Support Agency responsible for providing timely, relevant, and accurate analysis of imagery and geospatial information to describe, assess, and visually depict physical features and geographically referenced activities .in support of national security objectives including the readiness of U.S. military forces, humanitarian efforts such as tracking floods and fires, peacekeeping activities, and public events. During the one-hour session (1) a Campus Recruiter for NGA’s Talent Acquisition Center will provide an overview of NGA, benefits, job opportunities, demo of the job site and provide application tips for students to gain a better understanding of applying for a job within the Intelligence Community.; (2) an NGA staff member will present on their office and work role; and (3) students will have time for Q&A.
