ORISE to host FBI virtual career fair

Join the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) TOMORROW, April 20, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. ET for a virtual career fair highlighting research opportunities for college students, recent graduates and faculty in the ORISE Visiting Scientist Program at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

During the event, you’ll have the chance to:

  • CHAT with FBI researchers and ORISE representatives 
  • LEARN about the research conducted at the agency 
  • EXPLORE paid research opportunities at the FBI 
  • NETWORK with other prospective applicants 

Relevant disciplines include:

  • Chemistry 
  • Biology 
  • Geology 
  • Environmental Sciences 
  • Computer Science 
  • Anthropology/Archaeology 
  • And more! 

Live Presentation
Gene Peters, chief of counterterrorism and forensic science research at the FBI Laboratory, will give a live presentation at the event. His presentation, titled "Research at the FBI Laboratory," will begin at 1 p.m. ET, and he will be available to take questions after his talk.

Note: Opportunities in the FBI Visiting Scientist Program are only open to U.S. citizens.
